Bulk Cryogenic Dry Ice Supply Master Agreement

Supplier agrees to manufacture, package, and deliver solid carbon dioxide (Dry Ice) in 3mm high-density blast pellets, 9mm/16mm nuggets, or 10-lb solid reformed blocks. Supplier certifies that all product is extruded from feedstock meeting Compressed Gas Association (CGA) G-6.2 and FDA 21 CFR § 184.1240 purity standards (minimum 99.99% CO2 purity, zero hydrocarbon oil residue, food/pharma grade).

Dry ice sublimates at a constant temperature of -109.3°F (-78.5°C) at standard atmospheric pressure. Invoiced weight is measured on calibrated, certified scales at Supplier’s manufacturing plant dock upon loading into insulated containers. Normal ambient transit sublimation (1.5% to 3.5% per 24-hr period in dedicated totes) is standard across the cryogenic distribution industry.

Customer leases heavy-duty polyurethane insulated dry-tote bins (300-lb to 500-lb payload capacity). Deliveries follow a full-for-empty bin exchange cycle. Customer is responsible for bin interior sanitation and returning all dry-tote containers free of physical structural damage.

Dry ice is classified by US DOT as UN1845, Carbon Dioxide, Solid, Class 9. Customer acknowledges that sublimating dry ice displaces oxygen in enclosed rooms and vehicles. Customer warrants that its storage areas maintain active mechanical ventilation and continuous ambient CO2 gas monitors (OSHA 5,000 ppm TWA limit).

Product is billed per pound at agreed volume tiers. Expedited same-day hot-shot delivery requests outside scheduled route replenishment days incur standard courier dispatch surcharges. Supplier maintains $5,000,000 Product Liability and Commercial General Liability coverage. Payment terms are Net 30 days.
