1. Driver License & Minimum Age Mandate (21+ Years Old)

Only individuals possessing a valid government-issued driver’s license who are at least 21 years of age and listed on this agreement are authorized to operate the Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV). Permitting an unlicensed or underage individual to drive constitutes immediate breach and forfeiture of the $500 security deposit.

2. Roadway Access & 35 MPH Speed Limit Restrictions

Pursuant to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 500 (FMVSS § 571.500) and state statutes, this LSV is limited to 25 MPH and may only be operated on public roads with a posted speed limit of 35 MPH or less. Operating on sidewalks, bike paths, pedestrian boardwalks, or limited-access highways is strictly prohibited.

3. Mandatory 3-Point Seatbelts & Maximum Seating Capacity

All passengers must remain seated with 3-point seatbelts fastened whenever the vehicle is in motion. The maximum seating capacity (4 or 6 passengers as designated on the VIN placard) must never be exceeded. Riding on rear cargo platforms or standing while in motion is forbidden.

4. LiFePO4 Lithium Battery Charging & Port Protocol

Renter must plug the vehicle into a standard 120V 15A three-prong grounded outlet overnight using the provided heavy-duty charging cord. Vehicle must not be driven through standing salt water or flooded roads above wheel axle hubs to protect the high-voltage lithium battery pack and sealed AC motor.

5. Zero Alcohol Tolerance & Strict Liability for Traffic Infractions

Operating this vehicle under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances carries full DUI/DWI criminal penalties under state highway law. Renter assumes full financial responsibility for any parking tickets, red light camera citations, moving violations, or collision damage.
