Precision Laser & Waterjet Cutting Agreement
DIN EN ISO 9013 Edge Quality Standards, CAD Nesting Scrap Allocation & Material Certification
ISO 9013 v2026.1
1. DIN EN ISO 9013 Thermal Cutting Geometric Tolerances
Fabricator certifies that all profiled sheet metal and plate parts cut via CNC fiber laser or high-pressure abrasive waterjet conform to DIN EN ISO 9013 Range 1 / Range 2 perpendicularity and angularity tolerances (±0.005" to ±0.015" depending on gauge).
2. Nitrogen High-Pressure Assist Gas (Oxide-Free / Weld-Ready Edges)
Unless specifically ordered as oxygen flame-cutting for heavy mild steel plate, all stainless steel, aluminum, and sheet metal profiling is executed with 99.999% high-purity liquid nitrogen (N2) assist gas at 14–20 Bar, guaranteeing 100% oxide-free, burr-free edges ready for immediate powder coat adhesion or robotic welding.
3. CAD Nesting Efficiency & Skeleton Scrap Allocation
Customer DXF/STEP files are automatically nested using multi-part common-line cutting algorithms to achieve minimum eighty-two percent (82%) raw sheet plate material utilization. Billet drops and skeleton laser scrap remain Fabricator property and are factored as an instant discount into customer billing rates.
4. DFARS Mill Test Reports & Domestic Alloy Traceability
All prime inventory plates (A36, Grade 50, 304/316 Stainless, 5052/6061 Aluminum, AR400 Wear Plate) include complete Mill Test Reports (MTR) verifying chemical composition, heat numbers, and DFARS domestic melting compliance.
5. Production Invoicing, Lead Times & Secondary Deburring SLA
Standard production profiling orders ship within three (3) to five (5) business days from CAD drawing approval. Automated vibratory tumbling and Timesavers rotary brush edge deburring/rounding are included on all precision parts. Payment terms are Net 30 for approved commercial accounts.
