Certificate of Data Destruction & Chain-of-Custody SLA

Contractor certifies that all confidential records, documents, electronic media, and magnetic storage devices collected from Client premises were completely destroyed on-site inside Contractor’s mobile destruction vehicle prior to leaving Client property.

Paper documents are reduced by dual-shaft rotary shear blades into cross-cut particles with surface area ≤ 160 mm² (DIN 66399 Level P-4), rendering the confidential data completely unreadable, legally irretrievable, and unreconstructable pursuant to NIST SP 800-88 guidelines.

All confidential materials remain under continuous visual supervision by background-checked, drug-screened security technicians. Client representative is invited to observe real-time destruction via the vehicle’s external CCTV monitor screen.

This certificate serves as legal proof of compliance with federal privacy statutes including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA Disposal Rule), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

All shredded paper commingled inside the truck compactor is delivered directly to certified domestic recycling mills to be pulped and repurposed into commercial recycled paper products. Zero shredded waste is sent to municipal landfills.
